The Hoop and The Harm

Hey! Do you love Basketball? Do you live for basketball? Well, you may be just what hoopandharm.com is looking for.

This is an open call to anyone who thinks they are the next great sportswriter. Hoopandharm.com wants to be THE online basketball community. The only way to make that happen is to have writers and contributors from all over the country, and eventually the world. To make this happen we need help, bottomline. That’s where you come in.

For the past week, we have been working on and tweaking the site, but know that there is still room for improvement and am open to suggestions. After all, this is supposed to be a community. Basically, we are looking for people excited about writing, contributing and becoming a part of this community from the ground up and willing to grow as the site grows. Currently this would be a volunteer position, but there is definite possibility for a paying gig in the future. It all depends on the content WE put out there.

So anyone interested, shoot us an email detailing why you should be considered for the staff at hoopandharm.com. Tell me what it is you have to say and why the world would want to read your work. Also, where you’re from and anything else interesting.

This would be the perfect gig for college students majoring in journalism. Or really anyone with a passion for sports.
