The season hasn’t even started yet and the Heat already have serious injury concerns. Combined with the fact that they have started the preseason 0-4, we may be on the verge of a meltdown in South Beach.

Thomas’ return still a possibility

Shortly after going through open heart surgery, Etan Thomas’ doctor did not rule out the possibility of Thomas returning this season. Amazing. All of us who have watched him with the Wizards have to be happy to hear that. This was a serious procedure and extends much farther than sports. Obviously, the most important thing is overall health and that can often get lost within the hustle and bustle of the sports world. But reading this story, just blew my mind. The dedication. Mind-boggling.

Sean May out for the season

It has been reported that Sean May will need season ending microfracture Surgery. Frankly, this sucks. I had high hopes for the Bobcats this year. I felt they could be a playoff team, maybe sneak in at the 8 spot. It looked as though the young guns out in Charlotte would all finally be healthy enough to show us a little something.  Now, not so much.
